One of the highlights of a visit of Pontresina is the horse-drawn carriage ride to the wild-romantic Roseg Valley. The road starts at the railway station of Pontresina and leads through a natural reserve of alpine flora and fauna. The 7 km carriage ride lasts 1 hour. You can enjoy delicious meals at the cosy restaurant Roseg Gletscher. A hiking trail starts right there and leads through the high valley plains until it reaches the Roseg Glacier.
