A small fishing eldorado is waiting for the fishermen. Brown trout live in the mountain creeks and at the Lake of Le Prese you can catch samlet or lake trout. Valposchiavo is a fisherman’s paradise that touches people’s hearts.
All about the fishing license
The fishing season starts every year on 1st May; and the fishermen are more or less successful until 15th September.

Rowing boat rental
The hotel La Romantica owns several rowing boats which can be rented – also by non hotel guests. The boats have to be booked in advance by telephone. Hotelier Flavio Lardi brings the guests to the foot-bridge and gives some last recommendations for a safe navigation.
Only day rental
Price: CHF 40.-
For safety reasons it is not recommended to go on the lake by boat between 12.00 p.m. and 6.00 p.m. There is often swell in the afternoon which is difficult to control.
