The ski-lift at Viale gives our children the possibility to learn how to ski without having to travel too far. Of course the ski-lift is only open when the snow conditions are good.

The famous ski areas of Diavolezza and Lagalb can be reached by car in about 30 minutes. 

With inexpensive offers the RhB provides a combination of the round trip train ticket to different ski areas and the day ski ticket for the corresponding mountain railways. Just enjoy the inexpensive pleasure of skiing and take the comfortable train coaches of the RhB to get to the ski runs and back home. 

The neighboured Engadine, which is connected to Valposchiavo by the Bernina line of the RhB and the Bernina Pass, is one of the greatest and nicest ski areas of the Alps.
