The convent of the Augustinian nuns is situated in the centre of the Borgo. The building was constructed all around the cloister. Even after having been restored, the construction can still be recognized in its original structure of 1654 and presents itself nowadays as a centre for spirituality, ecumenism and culture, as a place of encounter for groups, associations and educational institutions.

The old convent shows a permanent exposition of 22 collages of the German writer and artist Wolfgang Hildesheimer (1916-1991).
