Up to seven persons can now experience the feeling of contemporary living inside old masonry. The stone house is situated in a hamlet above Brusio and is about 400 years old. It still represents the typical rural division with an economic part that shows towards north and a living-section towards south.

A complete renovation was necessary because of the bad state of the building. This was done in collaboration with the office for preservation of historical monuments. From the outside only the newly glazed window openings allude to the redevelopment. On the inside however the new ample eat-in kitchen in the former hayloft allows a contemporary way of living. Some openings of the walls give reference to the ancient living-section and make the house spacious. The harmonic consolidation of old and modern gives the house a special touch and guarantees a comfortable holiday stay at Valposchiavo with its meridional atmosphere.
