The Caseficio Valposchiavo was one of the first Swiss organic cheese dairies to process milk exclusively from non-silage-fed cattle. And those who prefer goat cheese are well provided for by the Azienda Compagnoni that markets its products under the name „Prodotti de Capra“.
In summer, tasty alpine cheeses come from Ilaria Vitali’s Agriturismo Alpe Palù. She offers them at the Marcù in Plazza, the market held every Wednesday on Poschiavo’s main square.
