The convent is surrounded by a high wall and was developed from several older buildings in stages that expanded until the 18th century. Here we are faced by an almost magical phenomenon: an extraordinary number of glacial potholes, otherwise known as «giants’ pots». The Glacier Garden can be reached on foot from Cavaglia railway station in about ten minutes.
